Hello and Welcome. Today is the monthly Blog Hop with Papertrey Ink. You can read all about the hop and find the links to all the projects by visiting Nichole's blog HERE
The inspiration photo for this month is gorgeous as always - simple but striking. The cookies are too beautiful to eat, which isn't a bad thing! Here's my take on the photo:
I started by heat embossing the scrolls from Fancy Flourishes in the corners of a piece of black card stock. Next, I die cut the star flower from One Big Happy and the three sizes of individual flowers from Forget Me Not, from a variety of card stock colors. The flowers and leaves were stamped in the coordinating color for a tone on tone look. Hello is die cut from Bloomin' Cute. Finally, I played around with the various pieces until I was happy with the placement. The panel is adhered to a white card base.
There were enough leftover pieces that I made a second card, this time using the Center Style Feminine die cut as the focal point and layering everything on a kraft card base.
That's it for me. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
