Day 5 Challenge

The challenge for Day 5 at Apron Strings is to combine and older kit with a newer kit.  I found two that were in the same color family, May 2009 and January 2011.  And no, the 2009 kits haven't been sitting around for two years....I joined Apron Strings last summer, so I've picked up quite a few of the 2009 kits when they were on sale (they have awesome sales!).  I love blue and orange together and both of these kits went right along with that color combo.

The journaling says:  "This photo of my brother cracks me up.  Seriously, what question did the photographer ask to get this reaction?"  I guess it was his 9 year old version of a 'serious' face.
