Snowbirds

Ever since retiring, my parents head to Florida in October to spend the winter in the sunshine.  It doesn't get extremely cold where they live, but they love being able to spend time outside in Florida.  The sun was barely up before they headed out on the road.

The two page layout is for the Out With the Old, In With the New challenge I've been participating in at Apron Strings.  This challenge is to use a Christmas/Winter themed kit with non-Christmas/Winter photos. Add in some of your newest soft embellishments (ribbon, felt, etc.). 

 

I used Jillibean Soup papers from the December 2010 kit.  The soft embellies are the new red felt letters from American Crafts and the ribbon from the kit.
