2008 Inspiration

Hello and welcome back. Today's challenge for Papertrey Ink is to use one of the 5 stamp sets featured that were introduced in 2008 or take inspiration from one of the examples. I don't have any of the featured sets so I decided to to use the only baby set I have, Polka Dot Parade #4.

I die cut the Cover Plate: Hexagon frame from Stamper's Select White cardstock and attached it to a Kraft card base. The stamped hexagons were stamped with images from Happy Hexagons in Classic Kraft, Summer Sunrise, Orange Zest, Aqua Mist and Hawaiian Shores. The stamped hexagons were randomly spaced toward the bottom and right side of the frame, popping a couple with foam, and the remaining full hexagons filled in with white pieces. The partial edge pieces were left unfilled so the Kraft could show through. The little teddy bear from Polka Dot Parade is stamped in Hawaiian Shores and popped up on an Angled Labels die cut. Welcome, stamped in Hawaiian Shores, is also from Polka Dot Parade.

I'm off to check out everyone's entries and be inspired!
