Flowers and Swirls

Hello again, are you enjoying this holiday weekend?  I was super successful on my shoe shopping trip yesterday and have been playing around with a few stamps today.  September is a huge birthday month for me as far as sending out cards.  Just next week alone, I have four family/friends with birthdays.

Before I get started on the birthday cards, I wanted to show a little love to this Flowers and Swirls stamp by Hero Arts so I whipped up this bright little number for the Young Crafters Unite Challenge.  Be sure to check out the full details of the challenge at

Isn't it cheerful!
The card base is Kraft cardstock from Papertrey Ink and the flowers are colored with a combination of Prismacolors and EK Success colored pencils.  To finish it off, I used a black pen to create the frame.  Thanks for stopping by to check it out!

  1. Such a pretty card! Love the colored pencils on the kraft cardstock =) Thank you so much for joining our first Young Crafters Unite challenge!
