Flowers and Swirls

Hello again, are you enjoying this holiday weekend?  I was super successful on my shoe shopping trip yesterday and have been playing around with a few stamps today.  September is a huge birthday month for me as far as sending out cards.  Just next week alone, I have four family/friends with birthdays. 


Before I get started on the birthday cards, I wanted to show a little love to this Flowers and Swirls stamp by Hero Arts so I whipped up this bright little number for the Young Crafters Unite Challenge.  Be sure to check out the full details of the challenge at  http://youngcraftersunite.com/. 

Isn't it cheerful! 
The card base is Kraft cardstock from Papertrey Ink and the flowers are colored with a combination of Prismacolors and EK Success colored pencils.  To finish it off, I used a black pen to create the frame.  Thanks for stopping by to check it out!
