2010 Inspiration

Hello and welcome to the weekend!  I'm playing catch up with Papertrey Ink's 10 year anniversary celebration.

Each day is a look back at what was happening in the world in a specific year.  Right now we're focusing on 2010. Where were you?  What were you up to?  The challenge is to create a project using one of the five featured stamp sets or a project inspired by one of the examples. Once again, I don't have any of the featured sets. However I do have Year of Flowers Daffodil which is in the same series Year of Flowers Sweet Pea.

The large daffodil image was stamped on Stamper's Select white cardstock, colored with Copic markers and die cut with the stitched oval from Noted Scalloped A2. The sentiment, also from the daffodil set was stamped in True Black on Berry Sorbet cardstock and die cut with Keep It Simple Frames. The oval and tag were attached to a piece of Harvest Gold patterned paper. A black enamel dot on the tag a Wink of Stella on the bloom were added for a finishing touch.

Thanks for looking
